Extreme heat is the top weather-related killer in the US, with an average of 702 heat related deaths each year. The heat wave follows a weekend of severe storms.

We need nuclear power!
The IPCC is clear: our objective of limiting our warming to 1.5° or 2°C in the 21st century can only be achieved if we drastically reduce our greenhouse gas emissions in the next eight years. The IPCC has also declared that nuclear power is crucial to this decarbonization.
